The Route

The route follows the main perimeter bridle paths/tracks around the grounds of Elvaston Castle and is pretty much flat with a coupe of very little inclines.

Both routes are on traffic free paths/roads and marshalled in many places for everyone’s safety.

5 Mile Route

Two laps of the course.The first lap includes an out and back down the ‘Gallop’ but not the second, when you get to the Golden Gates listen out for the bell to ring and head for home!

2 Mile Fun Run

One lap of the route (excluding the gallop). When you hear the gates bell ringing only a small distance to go!
